Founded by Alessia Avallone in 2017, Language Of Sound is an artist management agency and source for creative direction, with a singular, holistic approach to artistic representation. With a background in art history, the Naples-born, London based Alessia worked with agencies for many years before starting this project. Operating from deep-seated values of integrity, and neither compromising or settling, Alessia sees herself as a facilitator, with “a vision to fill the space between the artist and the art”, and giving the artists the space needed to tell their stories, and develop independently of the mechanisms of the music industry.
Believing in “the cosmic power of sonics as an ancient theology”, and recognizing the ofthidden connections between artforms, Alessia started and operates this project as a labour of love, with intensely personal relationships with each artist and a steadfast belief in the integrity of what they create.
Ron Trent’s soulful house, Lyra Pramuk’s innovation, Paquita Gordon’s psychedelic DJing, Huerco S’ immersive ambience, Gigi Masin’s delicate neoclassicism and Carmen Villain mesmerizing experimentalism, all have a place here - all dialects of a common language of sound.
